1. I don’t have enough pics of her

2. Dead sunroof motor

3. I think the last guy put tires that are slightly too big on it

4. Broken odometer

5. Power steering reservoir leaked fluid after front brakes and rotors were changed so ????? But hasn’t leaked before or since then.

6. Worn exterior badges

7. Second gear is slightly difficult to engage when moving.

Time to sell it to me, this is an insurmountable list. I never should have sold either of my E28s.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a 533i outside of a junkyard. They stopped making them in what, 1984? Wasn’t it the fastest sedan on sale in the US in 1983?

I believe they stopped making the U.S. version on 1986, but otherwise you are correct, until they made the 535I into an m5.

The place is a wealth of information. I’ve been active there when I had my cars, and I’m sure I will be again because there’s no doubt I’ll have another. I had an ‘87 535is and later an M5. Of all the cars I’ve ever had, I miss the M5 the most.
